ABO Blood Grouping Teaching Kit
AIM: To understand the basic concept of ABO blood grouping.
Principle:
The most well-known and medically important blood types are ABO group. ABO groups were discovered in 1900 and 1901 at the University of Vienna by Karl Landsteiner in the process of trying to learn why blood transfusions sometimes cause death and at other times save a patient. In 1930, he belatedly received the Nobel Prize for his discovery of blood types.
According to the ABO blood group system there are four different kinds of blood groups: A, B, AB and O (null).
Kit Description:
BioBharati ABO Blood Grouping Teaching Kit helps to identify the ABO blood group and Rh factor depending upon the antigen present on the surface of red blood cells.
