Description: BioBharati provides a cloned version of Taq DNA Polymerase, which is expressed in E. Coli. This recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase is identical to native Taq from Thermus aquaticus with respect to activity, specificity, thermostability and performance in PCR.

Taq DNA Polymerase catalyzes the incorporation of dNTPs into DNA. It requires a DNA template, a primer and the divalent cation Mg++. Taq DNA Polymerase contains a polymerization dependent 5′-3′ exonuclease activity. It does not have a 3′-5′ exonuclease proof reading function. Despite this, the enzyme synthesizes DNA in vitro with reasonable fidelity.

Reagents supplied:

• Taq DNA Polymerase, (2.5U/µl)
• 10X Taq Reaction buffer (100mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.8; 500mM KCl; 0.1% Tween 20; 15mM MgCl₂; 0.1% Tween 20)
• 2.5 mM dNTP (2 ml)

 Storage Buffer: 50mM Sodium Phosphate, pH 8; 300mM NaCl; 0.1mM EDTA; 1mM DTT; 50% glycerol (v/v)

Application: PCR (tested with upto 10 kb DNA template), RT-PCR.
